Abraham Ablorh Mensah, is a Principal Finance Officer and Training Associate at the Public Procurement Authority, Accra Ghana having gone through the ranks from 2005 to date. He is also a Technical Specialist to the Minister of State in Charge of Public Procurement at the Office of the President of the Republic of Ghana, from 2017 to date.

Mr. Mensah at the Public Procurement Authority, Ghana provides advisory and technical support to management of the PPA on all aspects and phases of the procurement and contract cycle, performs efficient and effective procurement management through tender preparation, invitation, evaluation and contract award, ensures the implementation of the procurement policies and controls across public institutions; facilitates capacity building training programs to improve upon the knowledge and skills of public servants, Training public institutions on contract management, Perform annual procurement audits of all pre-tendering and post tendering processes of procurement in selected government institutions.

Mr Mensah is a proud product of Valley View University having graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree in 2004. He also holds a Master Business Administration, Finance degree from the Korea Advance Institute of Science and Technology, College of Business, Seoul, South Korea, obtained in 2015, and a Master of Financial Management degrees from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana and Amity University, Pradesh, India, obtained in 2013.

 

Mr Mensah is also a Chartered Procurement and Supply Professional from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, UK, a student member of ICA and some other international professional certifying bodies.
