John is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology candidate at Jiangsu University, China. He received a Master of Information Technology from the Open University of Malaysia in 2013. His research interests are at the intersection of the fields of Recommender Systems, Deep Learning, Knowledge Graph, Network Security and E-voting Systems.
On these topics, he published research papers in peer-reviewed academic journals as British Journal of Computer Science and Mathematics, International Journal of Computer Applications, and International Journal of Computer Science Issues.
He is currently working on a joint survey paper on the Application of Deep Learning in Recommender Systems to be published in a top-ranked journal of Computer science. "
