He was born on January 19, 1973, at Abofour near Offinso in Ashanti Region, Ghana. He is married to Mrs. Stella Appiah, Ph.D.

He has four children: (1) David Appiah, (2) Dennis Agyemang Appiah, (3) Daniel Obeng Appiah, and (4) Deborah Akyiaa Appiah.

He was ordained into the Gospel Ministry on 11th March 2006.
