Valley View University Inducts a New Rector for Its’ Techiman Campus

Valley View University has inducted into office a new Rector for its Techiman Campus, Pastor Professor Emmanuel Bismark Amponsah. The new Rector has taken over from the immediate past Rector, Pastor Professor Agyekum Boateng, who is now the current Pro-Vice Chancellor.

The short but colourful ceremony, which was held at the Campus’ auditorium, was attended by workers and other stakeholders of the University under strict Covid-19 protocols.
The ceremony was performed by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Pastor Professor Daniel Kwame Bediako, with support from Pastor James Anane Domeh, the Executive Secretary of the Mid-North Ghana Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Professor Bediako charged the Rector to work in accordance with the standards of the Church and the Statutes of the University. He further called on all workers and stakeholders to give the Rector the needed support to help him deliver on his mandate. A special prayer was offered by Pastor James Anane Domeh. Representatives of various stakeholder groups pledged support and expressed optimism about the new Rector and pledged their support to him.

On his part the new Rector pledged to work with all stakeholders in unity in advancing the mission of the University of emphasizing academic, spiritual, vocational, and technological excellence for service to God and humanity. The occasion was witnessed by some partners of the university including the branch manager, Prudential Bank Techiman and branch Officers of CBG, VVU- Techiman.
