The Vice-Chancellor Pays a Courtesy Call on Omanhene of the Techiman Traditional Council.

As a way of reinforcing strong ties with the rulers of the land, the Vice-chancellor of Valley View University, Prof. Daniel Kwame Bediako, and the Key Officers paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the Techiman Traditional Area, Nana Oseadeeyo Akumfi Ameyaw IV, on April 9, 2021.

The motives of the visit were to express appreciation to the Techiman Traditional Council and also introduce the new Officers of the university, especially the Rector of Techiman Campus, Prof E. B. Amponsah. 

In a brief statement, Prof. Bediako commended the Traditional Council for their support and commitment towards the University's growth. He reiterated that “the new Rector, appointed, is here to continue the good works left behind by the previous Rector and that he is a diligent worker who will work assiduously to promote the campus and maintain a cordial relation with the community"

On his part, the Omanahene, Nana Oseadeeyo Akumfi Ameyaw IV, commended the University's delegation for their continued good works and the respect accorded them by introducing the new leaders to the traditional council. He further advised University's leadership to continue to work towards uplifting the image of the University and the community as a whole.

The Omanhene emphasized the need to strengthen the online teaching and also introduce more courses that will protect the environment.
