VVU Kumasi Campus Embarks on an “on the Street” Enrollment Campaign

Staff of the VVU Kumasi Campus and a section of the students embarked on a street admissions campaign at the Poku Trading of the central business district of Kumasi on Wednesday June 30 and Thursday July 1, 2021.

The aim of the street campaign was to sell the programs of the university, offer on-the-spot admissions and promote activities of the University. In all, about 3500 flyers were shared to the public. Members of the Campus Management Committee, all staff, and students moved from office-to-office promoting Valley View University and her programs. On their part, members of the public warmly accommodated members of the promotion team to their offices, stores, cars and shared some their views on the products and programs of the university.

Two interviews were granted by the Promotion Team and the Rector on the first day of the Campaign on Hello and Ash FM stations. Interviews centered on the programs, fee structure, and value-based education provided by Valley View University. The two-day program saw many prospective students throng the stands to ask questions on the programs, fees and location of the university. In all, many forms were given out to members of the public.

This campaign forms part of a set of activities lined up by the Campus Management Committee and Promotion Team to promote the University as it begins the Graduate Evening programs in September, 2021.

The next Street Campaign of the Campus is scheduled to take place at Abrepo Junction in the third week of July, 2021.
