A hidden treasure in Ghana

As we travelled to the VVU Techiman campus, the fun gave joy to our hearts, the beauty of Ghana we were exposed to made us know there was more to the country than the Metropolitan city we all knew. Seeing the cocoa trees, the town where the Kente is made, the travelers mess where all kinds of delicious stuff was available for purchase gave us more insight into the trade and commerce of Ghana, which you should know that Ghana is one of the top producers of cocoa in the world which is used to make the chocolate and coffee we all see and enjoy globally.

So, we literally passed towns where this cocoa is planted and the globally acclaimed Kente is made. This is to tell you that if the road to Techiman is this awesome, Techiman itself is even more so. Again, VVU are location experts too amidst other things, they just know the right place to situate a campus.

We arrived the VVU Techiman campus guest house, to the hospitality of the staff, the cleanliness and serenity of the rooms, the peace and ambience of the environment and later to the Saturday morning service the next day which was started with a Kings breakfast at the beautiful hygienic cafeteria, yes, it's a royal breakfast. Think oats, milk, brown sugar, wheat Bread and omelets with apples and grapes.

Trust VVU to never disappoint. When you think there's nothing else they could give, yet they go surprise you. The campus was breathtaking, brilliant, showing the growing and ever-evolving spirit of innovation of VVU, their entrepreneurial ventures which is a great example to students-To create jobs and opportunities not wait for them, to know that they can be many things: an academic and businessmen/women.

We all know that VVU has an ecological setting which is GREAT for studying, but VVU Techiman Campus is literally paradise, but this time, a paradise where you study. That has never been the case with paradises but VVU did it, we have the first one of its kind, it’s the VVU Techiman Campus – the garden city of Ghana, a hidden treasure. Well, not so hidden now.
