You are warmly welcome to the Kumasi Extension Campus of Valley View University. In the year 2004, the University Administration set up a Study Centre at Amakom, Kumasi, Ghana to run its Centre for Adult and Distance Education programmes. The Centre has since grown exponentially. In October 2012, the University submitted an application to the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (NAB) for a campus status. Presently, the Kumasi Campus enjoys the accreditation and recognition of both the NAB and the Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA), a global accrediting body of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in charge of over 114 universities and colleges worldwide.

 

Although a new and young Campus, not having the much physical infrastructure to boast of, we intend to have a campus that plays second fiddle to no other campus or university in our country and the sub-region in what matter most---academic excellence and irreproachable citizenship of our products. As such, the overriding principle and watchword have been and ever will be QUALITY in everything we do. In the Kumasi Campus, we seek to achieve this undiluted quality by vigorously pursuing divergent and strategic thinking, professional communication, informed decision-making, meticulous research, professional focus, creativity, and innovativeness.

 

In our young Campus, we make no provision for mediocrity and there’ll be no upper limit in our spiritual, educational and moral endeavors. We intend to raise the academic standard of the Campus to the point where external supervision would be just a routine. Through seminars and other special communication media, we provide our faculty, staff, and students the spiritual, intellectual and real-world capacities to make the sky their stepping stone whilst it still remains the limit for others.
