The Van Bemmelen Library has donated books to the Walton Whaley Library of VVU, an effort led by Dr. Isaac Fordjour, a key member of the University’s book drive committee. This initiative is part of a broader mission to enhance the Library’s resources at Valley View University.
On November 9, 2024, Valley View University marked its 32nd graduation ceremony with a combined Baccalaureate and Retirees service, bringing together moments of spiritual reflection and celebrating excellence within its community. The service included the Sabbath School session and a series of awards highlighting the achievements of students and staff. Twelve students from the Oyibi, Techiman and Kumasi campuses were honoured for their exemplary behaviour and contribution to the growth of the institution. At the same time, four university choir members received certificates for their dedication and service. Additionally, the University recognised ten retirees who contributed significantly to VVU’s beginnings and development through their commitment and service.

Introduction
SMARTBLOCK4AFRICA, in collaboration with Valley View University (VVU) from Accra, Ghana, and Babcock University from Nigeria, held a conference titled “Emerging and Resilient Technologies in Building and Securing African Nations” at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) campus in Achimota from 30 September to 1 October 2024. The event brought together local and international experts to explore the transformative potential of blockchain and smart technologies in advancing Africa’s
development.
In a landmark collaboration aimed at advancing higher education opportunities, Valley View University (VVU) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo, represented by the country’s embassy in Ghana. The agreement, signed on Friday, 29 September 2024, solidifies a commitment to enrol Congolese nationals at the university annually.
