The Oyibi Electoral area receives a donation from the Valley View University on April 24, 2020, as part of measures to augment Government’s effort towards the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Centre for Innovation Entrepreneurship and Rural Development, Valley View University has offered 9- day training on farmer-friendly pre and post technologies that will help yam farmers overcome constraints such as low productivity and quality.

The Skills Development Fund in collaboration with Centre for Innovation Entrepreneurship and Rural Development, Valley View University have provided a 5 days training on good agronomic practices to 40 women sorghum farmers at Jema in the Kitampo South District.
Diane Yeboah, a level 400 student at the Valley View University and a resident at the Ellen G. White Hall of the main campus, Oyibi displayed bravery in quenching a fire that started at the Ellen G. white Hall on 21st December, 2019.
