THE GOVERNING COUNCIL of Valley View University (VVU), invites applications for the position of VICE-CHANCELLOR.
Valley View University invites applications from qualified individuals within the University community for the position of Associate Chaplain at the University’s Kumasi Campus.
Position Summary
The Associate Chaplain shall oversee spiritual life and development activities at the Kumasi Campus and ensure the implementation of the University’s chaplaincy mission and spiritual life approach.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Associate Chaplain shall:
• Be responsible to the Dean of Spiritual Life and Development and work under the directives of the Rector.
• Organize and facilitate Bible studies, spiritual discipleship, counseling, evangelism, and other faith-based programs.
• Lead prayer sessions, pastoral counseling, worship services, and community outreach activities.
• Work closely with the Dean of Spiritual Life and Development to develop strategies for spiritual growth and engagement at the Kumasi Campus.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
• Must be an ordained Minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
• Must hold at least a first degree in Theological studies.
• Must possess strong leadership, counseling, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must have experience in pastoral ministry, evangelism, and spiritual mentorship.
• Should not be more than 50 years at the time of entry subject to medical fitness.
• He should have at least five (5) years of ministerial experience.
• He must have an experience as a chaplain in an Adventist Institution not less than one year.
• He should show evidence of academic improvement to the Master's level and graduate not more than three years.

We are looking for International Students Services and Programme Coordinator. This position shall oversee the advisory function for international students to ensure their successful integration into the campus and local community, as well as maintaining their legal status in Ghana. This involves the oversight of processing of Non-Citizen Ghana card, residence permits as well as issues regarding immigration application.
DUTIES: Shall be to . . .
• Responsible for developing appropriate processes and procedures for prompt and accurate processing and monitoring of immigration and visa applications.
• Prepare and submit Annual Returns of International Students to the Director, Ghana Immigration Service
• Coordinate policies of admission and retention of foreign students
• Monitor international student applications, enrolment, and registrations
• Develop policies and procedures related to processing immigration and visa applications.
• Consult with campus units on immigration and visa rules, regulations and processing.
• Establish and ensure good rapport between the University and the representative embassies of international students.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Valley View University is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor who will report directly to the Vice Chancellor of the University to evaluate and improve our Internal Controls, Risk Management and Governance Processes.
Qualification
1. Postgraduate Degree in Internal Audit, Accounting, or similar Finance-related qualification Certified Internal Auditor
2. Professional Certificates (CIA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) level 3
3. Experience with Auditing software (e.g., ACL, Teammate)
4. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., Company Acts, Internal Audit Standards)
5. Minimum of 5 years of experience as Internal Auditor
6. Should not be more than 55 years of age at the time of entry subject to medical fitness.
The Role
Working under the Vice Chancellor, the Internal Auditor shall coordinate audit report in a balanced, holistic manner that is accurate and reflective of the internal audit activities carried out and demonstrates consistence and clear language.
Responsibilities
· Ensure the establishment and operation of an efficient and effective financial control system
· Develop and implement audit procedures
· Conduct special audits and investigations
· Collaborate with external auditors
· Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
· Verify all proposed expenditures to ensure compliance with laid-down internal control systems and other state requirements
· Conduct periodic examination of the accounts of the University including the units with limited financial and operational autonomy
· Monitor and ensure that all expenditures incurred have been authorised and are within budgetary provisions
· Conduct periodic management audit and submit reports to the Vice Chancellor and the Council
· Liaise with External Auditors and ensure that appropriate action is taken on audit findings
· Submit periodic audit reports on the activities of all units to the Vice Chancellor;
· Conduct investigations and issue queries as appropriate
Skills
· Ability to disseminate information concisely and logically to all levels of stakeholder
· Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
· Possess strong IT skills and familiarity with accounting software
· Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills
· Be a good team player
· Be analytical, critical, result-oriented, innovative and visionary
