As a way of reinforcing strong ties with the rulers of the land, the Vice-chancellor of Valley View University, Prof. Daniel Kwame Bediako, and the Key Officers paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of the Techiman Traditional Area, Nana Oseadeeyo Akumfi Ameyaw IV, on April 9, 2021.

In spite of the challenges posed by the covid-19 pandemic, it has led to innovative ways of doing everyday things. In the area of education, adherence to the covid-19 protocols has led to new approaches to content delivery and assessment.

he VVU Safety And Security Unit has taken delivery of  new bicycles and a motorbike for its staff on the Oyibi campus to augment their work.  

Mr. Shadrack Dampson, an alumnus of Valley View University (VVU) has recently been adjudged the Best Teacher in the Junior High School (JHS) category in the 2020 Assin South District Teachers´ Awards ceremony.

A Valley View University alumnus, Mr. Raphael Lauren Owusu has together with his team members, won the Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) 2021 Entrepreneurship Challenge.

The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) has donated textsbooks to the Department of Communication Studies of Valley View University. The books cover areas such as the Right to Freedom of Expression, Media and Elections, Safety of Journalists, Right to Information, Legal Frameworks on the work of the Media in West Africa as well as other related areas.

As part of the University's Chapel Service Series,  Valley View University has hosted the Honourable Dr Alfred Oko Vanderpuije, Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South as the guest speaker. 

An induction ceremony has been held to officially usher Dr. Winfred Ofoe Larkotey into office as Rector of the Kumasi Campus of Valley View University.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Daniel Bediako, charged the new Rector to keep the ideals of the University and rise to the call of his new office. The Vice Chancellor also formally introduced Dr. Larkotey to the staff of the Kumasi Campus.
