VVU Management Discusses proposed Health Insurance Policy with workers.

Valley View University Management, led by Professor Daniel Kwame Bediako, had a meeting to discuss a proposed health insurance policy with its workers on July 23, 2021, at the Seth Laryea multi-purpose centre.

In his presentation on the proposed health insurance policy, Dr. Williams Kwasi Peprah, the Chief Finance Officer of the University, elaborated on the numerous benefits of the health insurance policy to the workers of the University and the reason for the Management to settle on Medical Health Insurance scheme.

According to him, the insurance company to be selected has the following advantages:

As part of the meeting, there was a questions and answers session to clarify issues relating to the policy to staff.

At the end of the meeting, staff voted unanimously in favor of the policy, which would also have a monthly deduction to enable each worker and their family (i.e., spouse, up to four children, and parents) to access a total of GHc37, 000 health insurance package for each family.
