The Valley View University commits itself to holistic education. As a Seventh-day Adventist Institution of Higher Learning with the brand tug, "Preferred Christian University", its quest for spiritual life development cannot be overemphasized. To this end, the university over the years has tried to build a chapel as its permanent place of worship.

To fast track work on the chapel, the Vice Chancellor, Prof William Koomson came up with the  "Move in by Faith" initiative at the beginning of this semester to permanently move into the grand edifice on April 29, 2023. God has faithfully honored the faith of His people. In spite of numerous difficulties that had to be surmounted, the chapel is ready for worship as scheduled. All members of the university are invited to be part of this great moment of celebrating God's goodness. Like the ancient Israel, God's call is to "Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD" (Haggai 1:8). This move by faith definitely glorifies God as He takes pleasure in His temple.
